Our extensive facilities include a 17.5-metre indoor heated swimming pool, dedicated children’s pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi, plunge pool, and a 12-person outdoor hot tub—perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. Fitness enthusiasts can take advantage of our fully equipped gym along with a specialised Strength & Conditioning area and modern exercise studio.

In addition to hotel guests, we offer competitive leisure membership packages for those living in Dundalk, Newry, and surrounding areas, making the Carrickdale Hotel & Spa a popular choice for local health and fitness.

Whether you prefer high-energy workouts or more relaxing activities, our leisure centre provides a wide variety of fitness programmes designed to suit all levels. Guests and members benefit from expert guidance and access to a diverse class schedule, including Aqua Aerobics, Power Yoga, Pilates, and TRX. For those seeking more intense training, we offer HIIT, Boxercise, Push & Lift, and Kettlebells—ensuring you have everything you need to achieve and maintain your fitness goals.

Please note that all guests are required to wear a swim hat while using the pool facilities. Swim hats are available to purchase at the leisure centre reception.

Monday – Friday: 6:30am – 09:30pm

Saturday – Sunday: 07:30am – 7:25pm

Additional Information

All guests and members must vacate the pool and gymnasium areas 15 minutes before closing time.

Swimming Lessons operate during term time for children every Saturday from 12pm – 3.30pm and therefore the pool is unavailable during swimming lessons times
